Webhooks let your systems react to events in HelpBento in real time instead of polling the API.
Set up a webhook
From Settings → Webhooks, create a webhook pointing at your endpoint. You can enable or disable it at any time without deleting it.
Verify signatures
Each delivery is signed with a secret so your endpoint can verify it genuinely came from HelpBento. The signing secret is shown once at creation (or rotation) — store it somewhere safe, since it isn't shown again.
Rotate the secret
Rotate a webhook's signing secret if it's ever exposed, the same way you would an API key.
Deliveries & redelivery
A deliveries view shows the history of what's been sent and whether each one succeeded. If a delivery failed — your endpoint was down, returned an error — you can redeliver that specific event without waiting for it to happen again naturally.
